Veterinary services included in Quebec’s listing of priority activities and services

March 25, 2020

For the past 2 weeks Quebec’s Premier has been holding daily press conferences to inform people of the latest developments and measurements put into place to contain the COVID-19 pandemic. François Legault recently announced the closure of all businesses which provide non-essential services for an initial period of 3 weeks, until April 13. Veterinary clinics are considered essential and remain open. However, as precautionary measures become stricter, most clinics are responding to urgent cases only. Appointments for routine procedures, such as sterilization, will be rescheduled. To find out more about the situation contact your veterinary clinic.
